How To Reset Waste Ink Pad Canon MP190, MP230, MP250, MP280, IP2700, MG2440

Resetter Canon Service Tool 

To reset the waste ink pad of Canon MP190, MP230, MP250, MP280, IP2700 MG2440 printers, you need to follow the steps below:

1. Enter the service mode each printer will be reset
2. Turn off the printer
   Connect the printer to your computer via USB
   Press the "Cancel" button 
   Press the "Power" button 
   Release the "Cancel" button.
   Press the "Cancel" button 5 times for Canon MP250 2 times
   Release the "Power" button
3. Then download the Canon Service Tool 
4. Unzip the downloaded Canon Service Tool file.
5. Run the file ST_V3600.exe or Canon Service tool v3400.exe. If the utility could not find the printer, all the fields will not be active. It is advisable to disconnect other USB devices and check the connection of the printer.
6. In the last section "Ink Absorber Counter" select the value "Counter Value = 0" and click "Set"
7. The pampers are reset. Turn off the printer by pressing the "Power" button.
8. Done, the printer was back normally and ready to use again
