Here this is the way how to fix the error 5B00 or power button led blinking 7 times on Canon  iP2770 printer, it means the ink absorber full and needs to be reset, follow the steps for reset Canon iP 2770 the Ink Absorber.

1. Turn of your printer without unplugging
2. Get into Save Mode by Press and Hold the STOP / RESET button, while the Reset button is pressed, press the Power button until the power LED turn on, then release STOP / RESET button, then press the STOP / RESET 2 times and Release the POWER button.
3. Connect the printer to the PC
4. Open Service Tool v3400 Resetter on your PC, if you don't have this tool you can download below
5. On Main page click Set Clear Ink Counter 
6. Then click Set Ink Absorber Counter
7. Click EEPROM menu on Main page
